Day 2 of TRIRI

Today was a layover day. I could’ve done a loop ride but after yesterday, decided to take it easy. I rode into the town of Nashville, IN which is only a couple of miles from the Brown County State Park where we’re camped. The first stop was a coffee shop, followed by browsing through some interesting shops. Had a portabello mushroom sandwich at a microbrewery that was recommended by a woman at the visitor’s center. It came with a very hot, spicy coleslaw, so had to stop at the ice cream shop afterwards. All of the ice cream is made at the shop and they had some unusual flavors. I sampled persimmon and blueberry cream before settling on peanut butter chocolate chip. Hit a few more shops, got one more cup of coffee and headed back to the camp. It rained hard once while I was in town and again after supper tonight. I guess there is a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow too. We move to a different state park tomorrow. The route we’re to ride is 70 miles.
