Bar Harbor, Maine – August 31, 2013

Deb and I had an early flight out of Wichita to start our trip.  Our first stop was Dallas.  We only had an hour layover there.  We exited the plane, hit the restroom, bought a soda and got back on the same plane, same gate, and with the same flight crew.  From Dallas we flew to Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC.  As we flew in we were able to see the Pentagon, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.  We ate a late lunch and then took our final flight to Bangor, Maine.  We picked up our rental car and went to our hotel.  Later we drove down to the waterfront area and had dinner at the Sea Dog Brewing Company.  We sat outside on the patio overlooking the Penobscot River and listened to live acoustic music.  We had a lobster roll and blueberry beer…….tasty stuff!
